As the book is, from what I can tell, out of print, you’ll need to order it on Amazon or find a version to read online. Although the beginning is sort of weak it picks up pretty quickly. I feel like I can’t say anymore without spoiling the book. It takes place in Louisiana and they all attended a catholic school where, you guessed it, people are homophobic. The book follows a senior in high school named Hannah, and her 5 other friends, Baker, Clay, Wally, Joanie, and Luke. In case TBH Season 2 doesn’t happen, I feel as although this book shows what could have happened between Sterpil.
Throughout the story I noticed a lot of parallels to Sterling and April’s relationship, so I thought I’d get on here and share this book with you. I recently finished reading Her Name in the Sky by Kelly Quindlen. And Baker might want to be with Hannah, too–if both girls can embrace that world-shaking, yet wondrous, possibility.Before I start I want to say I suck with words.
